Taste of San Juan Feb. 2

Help launch the kick-off celebration of the Fiesta de las Golondrinas at The Limo Barn at Reata Park. The Taste brings together many of San Juan's marvelous restaurants under one roof to tempt you with 'tastes' of their fare. Includes live music. Tickets are only $50 for general admission.

Surf City USA Marathon & Half Marathon Feb. 5

This award-winning, Boston-Qualifying, course is considered one of the best courses in the country and is well known for being scenic and flat. International Festival of Chocolate Feb. 5

Indulge in chocolate samples and purchases from local chocolatiers. Chef Martin will present chocolate recipes from Mexico and South America. Enjoy music and dance performances from the chocolate lands. The entire family can participate in free art projects and face painting.

Centennial Farm Workshop: Truffle Making Feb. 11

You’ll learn about chocolate’s origin, how to make your own ganache and how to decorate with several gourmet toppings. We will also provide gift boxes and ribbons to pack your scrumptious treats! In this two-hour class we’ll measure, melt, mix, chill and roll truffles made with fair-trade cacao chocolate and silky cream. It’s sure to be a delicious experience to share with your loved one, friend or coworker and just in time for Valentine’s Day! All participants will leave with truffles.

San Juan Capistrano Rotary Car Show Feb. 11

Great Train Show Feb. 11-12

Great American Train Shows is the nation’s only coast-to-coast train show company. Their train shows are designed for the general public, modelers, hobbyists, families, and the just plain curious. 20th Anniversary Kneeboard Surfing USA Titles Feb. 17

he event will celebrate 20 years of KSUSA-sponsored competitions and is expected to attract top international competitors. In addition to the Open division, the 2023 event will feature Women’s, Junior’s, and Pro Junior’s divisions. The 2023 and 2024 US Kneeboard Titles will be used as a qualifying event for the 2024 Kneeboard Surfing World Titles in South Africa. Results of the 2023 and 2024 US Kneeboard Titles will be used to rank US Team Members competing in the World Titles.
